TALK:

Professor Collins strongly believes in expanding communication with the mayors' office. Communication is his career background. Mr. Collins has an extensive career in both the technical media and education. He believes in transparency through local public meetings and live TV board meetings.

"I have enjoyed serving on community boards in Orange County for over 15 years. I will be accessible for community meetings day or night."

EDUCATE:

"I support ethics courses on the high school and college level. Civics, Business, and Communication college courses are essential skills. I also encourage expansion of ethics training on the corporate and government level." 

ACCOUNT:

George Colllins believes passionately in independent auditing, encouraging whistle blowers, regular reviews of accounting procedures and enforcement of the sunshine rules in Orange County government.

COLLABORATE:

George supports more partnerships with the business community. "I will continue to work with the chamber of commerce, Disney Entrepreneur Center, the media, and UCF and Valencia in more collaborative programs to advance economic opportunity."  

HELP:

For over 12 years George served on the board of the Apopka Family Learning Center. " I support expanding family learning centers to support Orange County families with education and economic opportunities. I also enjoyed serving as Chairman of Orange County Parks and Recreation Board.
